This piece, on its surface, is a little darker than a lot of my works. It actually isn’t dark at all though. I had a transformational breathwork experience that left me reeling with a feeling of connectedness to everything around me. This image is called “Held” because that is how I felt, and continue to feel, when reflecting on my journey through that experience. Rather than feeling separate from the earth, people, and life I felt truly embraced, safe, and held.
