I have loved birds since I was a child. Bird identification and birdwatching were regular parts of my upbringing. My very first craft business was called "Put a Bird on It." For those of us of a certain age, this reference is quite amusing.
Now, living in my third, very different, state, I began with the basics: the New Hampshire state bird, which you see here! I drew this particular bird from a photo I drew this bird from a photo taken at my backyard feeder.
